Intelligent systems for SMB's.
Over two decades of operator experience inside Fortune 100 banks, enterprise technology vendors, and the small business world. The systems, methodology, and writing born from what we saw and experienced.
Our mission
Empower small and medium businesses with the insights and discipline the largest enterprises take for granted.
Qualsis exists because there is a gap between what enterprises take for granted and what small and medium businesses can buy, use, or staff. The methodology that defends a large bank in audit, the rigor that makes a multi-million-dollar analytics deployment hold up, the discipline that holds a complex compliance program together — these are the same things small and medium size businesses need. They have just not been available in a shape, a price, or scale that fits how a small business operates.
We experienced that gap from both sides, over more than two decades. Inside Fortune 100 banks. Inside IBM as the technology vendor architecting enterprise analytics deployments. Inside small businesses architecting solutions, running multiple operations, leading an MSP. The pattern was always the same: the work that the largest organizations treated as table stakes was rarely available to the small businesses.
So we built Qualsis to close that gap three ways at once. We ship systems that encode the insights and discipline. We write methodology that explains it. We publish thinking that develops it in public. Every product, every paper, every letter is built around one question: what would it look like if the small business owner had what the Fortune 100 CEO takes for granted?
The best systems bring structure without adding weight. They give growing businesses the discipline to make better decisions, without asking them to operate like a Fortune 500 company.
Meet the founder

Robert Griffin
Founder & CEO
Charlotte, North Carolina
Robert founded Qualsis in late 2024 to encode more than two decades of operator experience — across banking, enterprise technology, and the MSP world — into systems, methodology, and writing that small and medium businesses use.
His career has moved between the two ends of the economy. He spent five years at Bank of America working through the post-crisis era on enterprise credit risk, CFO reporting, and default servicing operations, after earlier work at Wachovia and Wells Fargo on the merger-era authentication and trading platforms. He spent four and a half years at IBM as an Analytics Solution Architect, designing multi-million-dollar deployments for Tier 1 banking clients and earning the IBM Analytics 100% Club.
In 2019 he went independent, doing solution architecture and infrastructure design for startups and small businesses through Griffin Technology and Consulting Solutions. Two years later he joined SeedSpark as Vice President of Managed Services, and then became Chief Operating Officer, eventually overseeing operations across SeedSpark, SparkNav, Prismo Marketing, and Code Fusion Solutions. Under his operations leadership, the portfolio won the MSP 501 Award in both 2021 and 2022, achieved Datto Blue Diamond Partner status, and was named to the Inc 500.
What that career taught him is the thesis behind Qualsis. The insights and discipline that defends a Fortune 100 in audit and the rigor that makes a Tier 1 enterprise analytics deployment hold up are the same disciplines a small business needs to operate with confidence. They have just not been available in a shape, a price, or a vocabulary that fits.
Robert holds a B.S. in Aeronautical Science with a Business Administration minor from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and an M.S. in Project Management from Western Carolina University. He holds certifications in IBM Watson Data Platform Foundations, IBM Analytics Platform Foundations, and Cloud & Cognitive Patterns. He speaks publicly on AI implementation, MSP operations, and quantum readiness, and publishes the Qualsis newsletter.

What we believe
Four values. Applied without exception.
Every product decision, every letter we publish, every conversation we have passes through these four.
Innovation minded
We embrace creative thinking and advanced solutions to solve real problems. AI implementation, coherent agents, quantum readiness — when the technology fits the problem, we use it. When it does not, we do not. The decision is judged by the outcome, not the buzzword.
Future driven
We stay ahead of where the work is going, not where it has been. AI today. Coherent agents next. Quantum-ready primitives after that. Our customers should never be the last to adapt to what is coming.
Integrity first
Honesty, transparency, accountability. No hype cycles. No artificial scarcity. No metric we cannot defend. If we cannot say it clearly, we will not say it.
Measured approach
Ambition is meaningless without execution. Every feature has a number behind it. Every recommendation surfaces its assumptions. Pragmatism is not a constraint — it is the whole point.
